Due to the amount of undercoat shed, the Great Pyrenees should be completely brushed out at least twice weekly to deter excessive shedding, tangling and matting. Full service professional grooming is recommended at least every 4-6 weeks.
 

Special care should be taken when brushing your Great Pyrenees to go all the way to the skin with the proper brush.

Consider using a Specialty Shampoo or conditioner to spruce up your Great Pyrenees’ coat & ask for Toothbrushing for dental hygiene.
The oatmeal bath and the soft and silky treatment or whitening shampoo are common ad-ons for this breed!
