Daily grooming is very helpful with a full-coated Lhasa Apso. The coat is rich, dense, long and flowing with perhaps a slight wave. The substantial coat can easily become matted especially when exposed to moisture. The Lhasa Apso should be completely brushed out at least twice weekly to deter excessive shedding, tangling and matting. Full service professional grooming is recommended at least every 4 weeks.
