Overnight Dog sitting
Going out of town or need a little break? Don't send your dog to a kennel to be locked in a cage! Active Paws provides overnight dog-sitting while your away. With us your dog will get the best available care from someone they know (or will know), while having other dogs to play with safely and be brought into our home, as a part of our family.

When we watch your dog, he/she will be included in our family activities, such as going to the park, the beach, pet store and car rides if ok by you while being safely socialized with our one year old yellow lab Charlie among other dogs, supervised by Stephanie who is also dog daycare manager. Also, we will re-enforce the training you have started while you're away, so there is no gap in training.
While your dog is with us, we will make him/her as comfortable as possible, keeping them as close to their normal schedule as possible.
While at our home, your dog will have access to our 1/2 acre fenced yard and toys to play with, along with anything else you bring from home.
Also, many times we take digital pictures of the dogs playing as you will see on this website and will give them to you on a CD so you can put them on your computer, email them to family and friends or just hold on to them. If you would like us to try to take some pictures of your dog while they are with us just let us know and we will watch for photo oportunities!
House-sitting is a service we provide so your house will not be left uncared for while you are away. We will go to your house a couple times per day (or as agreed), take out trash, bring in mail, feed animals and anything else that needs done, if your dog is unable to stay with us we may also care for them at your home.
