We specialize in high frequency grooming.

Basset Hounds are serious, constant shedders. Regular brushing and grooming will significantly reduce the amount of shedding from this breed. The coat is hard and short to repel water. The Basset Hound should be bathed and have its nails trimmed monthly. They should have their ears cleaned and be brushed every week.

 If home maintenance is done properly; full service grooming is recommended every 4 weeks, if not professional grooming is recommended at least every 1-2 weeks.
