There are several benefits to Active Paws, too many to list. Thanks to our amazing client base we have close relationships with our customers and can watch for many problems to arise seeing them frequently.
Primarily the most important benefit with Active Paws is we form a personal relationship with your pet, grooming them in our state of the art facility, a safe, clean, comfortable environment with absolutely no re-circulated water and no cage time. Most grooms take 1-1.5 hours, however, we will not rush through your job.
If your pet requires more time, they get it, so if we run off schedule, please be understanding. Your pet will receive the same treatment. We do one job at a time, so your pet is not waiting in a cage for 6-8 hours to before we get around to them.
Being in a strange, loud environment with other dogs can be very stressful for pets. Our service is far less stressful and much more personal. Give your pet their own time, not chaos! Our concept, since 2002, is far different from traditional grooming shops and ‘big box stores’.
We bring our full size, self contained, grooming shop on wheels to your home, on your schedule. All you have to do is give us your pet and tell us what you want done. We take care of the rest. Many of our customers are not even home after the initial visits. No hookups and no hassles! No more getting your car all hairy and dirty dragging your pets to the groomer. We keep all of your information in our secure computer system for your convenience. Our facility is fully heated & air conditioned for even the most harsh conditions and has a hot water heater on board for optimum comfort.
Although Active Paws may be more expensive than your typical grooming shop, we offer fair prices based off a proven business model. We keep costs as low as possible, but cut no corners. Shampoos and products are always premium, care is always optimal and equipment stays clean and reliable. Active Paws is also not a franchise, avoiding royalty fees to other countries. We also participate and sponsor many of the city’s pet events.
You never have to lift your own pet and we do not let them jump down from tables or out of tubs.
Our facility is first class, custom built 18’ long by 8.5’ wide pulled by an F-250 diesel. It is heated and air conditioned, features a professional tub, 2 grooming stations, non slip equipment, dehumidifiers, hot water heater, blow driers, lighting, a powerful rv generator and more so no hookups are required! With our full line of ultra premium shampoos we have exactly what your pet needs to keep them healthy and comfortable. Our shampoos also do not strip the oils from your pets coat, so you can have them groomed as often as you’d like. We have several long term weekly and twice weekly pets in our Royalty Club.
