Although relatively easy to maintain the Lab still needs to be groomed regularly. Regular grooming significantly reduces undercoat shedding on this breed. The Labrador Retriever should be completely brushed out at least monthly to deter excessive shedding. Full service professional grooming is recommended at least every 8 weeks.
