The Welsh terrier has a waterproof double-coat that lets him hunt and play in just about any weather without much trouble. This breed hardly sheds, but still requires coat care to prevent mats and make him look his best. Brushing is reuqired very frequently with this breed.

 If home maintenance is done properly; full service grooming is recommended every 4 weeks, if not professional grooming is recommended at least every 1-2 weeks.
